Default Speaker Wire or not?

Using Sony 1631s with the stock unit, no amp. Is it worth it to get new speaker wire? I know it made a huge diff w/home stereo sys. but I dont have much exp. w/car audio. Thx guys.

The stock head unit doesn't have enough power to warrant replacing the speaker wire. If you ever put in an amp with any amount of significant power I would replace the speaker wire, but not for just speakers.

Dude, don't do it unless you have to. It's a lot of work.

Don't bother unless you pick up an amp. Running a pair of 10 gauge speaker wires through the door hoses is hell on earth. Especially the drivers side. Replacing the stock speakers is well worth your money BTW. You've made a good purchase desicion.

Yes Only add new wire if you're adding an amp. It just ain't worth the work to get it through.
