I need a good chassis ground in the passenger footwell area. Normally I would extend the wire over to the driver's side and use the factory ground over there. However, the alarm module and cross-over for my speaker are in the way and I really would rather not pull them down to get at the ground. The passenger side looks to be pretty well open. Suggestions?

Anywhere you can find a bolt...just make sure the paint is cleared away from underneath.

Well, yeah, but I am not seeing any obvious locations pop out at me. Most of the bolts and screws I am finding are holding plastic to plastic.

Mmmm..... Now you have me thinking Dave. Is there a good gound point under the tunnel, near the handbreak? I should be able to get there pretty easily.

I don't think gounding to the HU will be a good idea.

This is what I ended up doing. I ran the wire under the HU and into the tunnel. I installed the wire here:

When I was hooking up my new x-overs yesterday I found that there is a chassis ground on the passenger side, basically the mirror image from the drivers side.

I must have not seen it with the old x-over in the way. I guess I'll know for next time.
