Would the Infinity 605CS component speakers drop in to the door?? Also where would a good place to put the tweeters be?

 

The only drop in component speakers (no cutting, just screw into baskets) would be 5.25" Mounting flush where the 02 is ideal for the tweeter. Remember with components you'll at least a decent aftermarket head unit or an amped system to do much justice.

 

I can vouch for this. Initially got the Polk components and noted a significant difference. Weeks later, added an Alpine (7873) head unit (60x4 peak power) and noted an even more significant difference, IMHO, specially when driving over ~50mph and cranking the volume up. Will be adding the rear speakers soon as well. Good luck.

 

I was considering the Infinity 605cs as well but at the time was not going to swap out the head unit and was advised against using component speakers w/ a stock head unit. Somebody had installed them and said they worked fine with the stock head and required no cutting, but that is debatable also.
