Low Budget headrest Speaker project
Installed speakers in my S this past weekend with some friends and ended putting some 4x6 speakers in my headrests. We used a rotozip to cut the plastic from the speakers and eventually fit them into the honeycomb of the headrests. These were Boston 4x6 speakers out of my friends truck (I don't know the model#). The only problem I have is that the wires and speakers are exposed, which doesn't look to hot.
I have 2 Questions:
1. Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can cover the back of the headrest and make it look as clean as possible?
2. How would I run the wire to keep it out of sight as much as possible?
I will be doing some research on the OEM headrst speakers to see what they have done.
Any comments, positive or negative, are welcome.
