Default Lucid Panels

Which speakers fit these panels? I have them and my pioneers are going bad. I'd like to replace them with something better. I'm also upgrading my OEM HU to an Alpine 9886 (if that matters)

Please be kind, I'm still a noob to I.C.E.

Is there a list somewhere with all the applicable speakers? or not because speakers become obsolete?

Thanks in advance for any information!

Paul

AFAIK, there's no list of compatible speakers.
Lucid used to ship with various models of Polk, Pioneer, and Kenwood,
and probably others, though I know he had difficulty finding better (and
especially larger) speakers that would fit. I believe the issue is primarily
the magnet diameter, which alas is not a spec widely reported for speakers.
I'd measure the diameter of your current magnets, and then look for
speakers that interest you, and see if you can dig up the measurements
on the manufacturer's website.
Good luck!

Manufacturers don't typically list the diameter of the magnets
so true... sometimes they are listed in the owner's manual/installation instructions
however.
using the wayback machine you can see Lucid's site from "back in the day" -
www.lucidautomotive.com
In 2004 he used Tsunami, Panasonic, Kenwood, Diamond (4.5"), and JVC.
Kenwood Excelon 5.25's appeared to be his top offering, so that may be a good
place to start your search.
Good luck!
