Default Is a Modifry PnP worth the money?

Hi All,

I know this is subjective, but I bought my car with an aftermarket stereo already installed (Sony) so I've never actually used the stereo buttons to the left of the steering wheel. I'm used to having the radio door open and using the deck, which I'm fine with.

With the exchange, it'll be about $110 CAD for the adapter. Would you say it's worth it to have functionality of those stock stereo controls?

Thanks

Radio? There's a radio in our cars? I've had my '06 a year and my wife just noticed the lack of a radio on the way to dinner last night. "Oh that's where it is!"

I never thought about replacing the OEM radio but would preserve the remote controls if I did.

The roll bar speakers are all that lets me hear anything other than at a complete stop. If it ain't the intake and exhaust it's the wind noise with the top down and I, frankly, prefer those sounds to the radio.

Well mine came with an aftermarket deck, components and a 2ch so I can at least hear it haha. Looking to add a sub, haven't decided on where to put it.

Maybe I'll just throw the cash at it and hope I find it worth it once installed. I'd of spent the money on something else anyway lol.

Thanks all.

A few other options out there as well. Autoleads PC99-X61 has seemed to gone up in price but this one is still cheap:

The Autoleads harness does pretty much the same thing but is much cheaper.
