Default MODIFRY's yellow jacket

I have this to correct my for my 4.44 gears. it works fine, but occasionally, the speedo will read '0' and the odometer stops tickin'. I've went back in and soldered the connections, and this still happens.

Also, when I drive on the freeway, when it goes to '0', i've tested it by killing the engine and the restarting, all while still coasting in neutral. That seems to fix it. This test leads me to beleive that its NOT a bad connection at all, but some kinda internal malfunction.

Anybody have this problem? modifry, where are u?

I've never had anything but flawless operation from mine. It's been on my car since May of 2005.

I got an email from him the other day. He's out of the country at the moment. You'll probably have to hang on a little while to get a response.

Ive had the same exact issue. Its happened twice to me already. I thought it was the wires at first so I tightened and reset the battery since everytime this happened, it brought up an error code with the speedometer. When it happened the second time, i knew it wasnt the wires so then I used electrical tape to tape the unit up and also taped it to the side instead of it just bouncing around when i turned. I did this 3 weeks ago and its been working fine.

Mine is securely fastened to one of the metal bits under the dash, so it could be a 'bouncing around' kind of problem.
