what about at night, is the display affected in any way at night by the headlights of a car behind you? also could it damage the display or even the camera?
Its fine at night. If someone is behind you can see them just as well as if you were using a mirror. How would it damage the screen or the camera??

Don't think the brightness will actually hurt anything, it would be just a white screen.

The guage pod I just bought from SOS, but I molded the screen in myself. I do all my own work.

Quick question...

when mounting a screen like that, or more specifically a GaugeTech EMS display (www.gauge-tech.com) into the dash, what's the best way to keep it in place? I'd like it to be removable just in case I need to change wires or something, yet secure enough so that it's not going to fall out when I hit a bump.

I was thinking along the lines of getting a spare radio door and modyfing the hell out of it. That way I have the mounting tabs, and I just need to mold it and put a hole in the dash. Any other suggestions?
