I just picked up an M760 (6.5 inch Alpine remote monitor).

Want to mount it up in the pass foot well area...the removable panel that would be a glove box if we had one. I'm thinking about spring loading it (like the radio door) so it would be hidden up under until you push to release it, then it slides down into view.

Any one attempted such a thing? And have any suggestions?
