Yeah, I wouldnt pay the 1K either, but I have to admit, its pretty pimp.

 

actually I think that 16gig drive holds close to 4 times as much as you could put in your changer at once. Assuming it is 6 cds at 700mb each gives you only 4.2gig of storage.

I still like the changer style though. If I was gonna do a hard drive, I'd setup my own computer in the car with a wireless ethernet card, so I could transfer from my computer in my house to the car in the garage wirelessly. Not to mention you could then also have the computer do dvd, other video files, games, GPS, and even internet with a cellphone with internet access.

 

his question wasn't clear about which HU he wanted to use... i asked if he meant the stock HU b/c there are some aftermarket FM modulator changers that can be used which will play MP3 CD's.

That's what I thought. What the heck were they talking about? I know the Civics and Accords have options for OEM mp3 players. I believe the Oddessy, Pilot and CRV do as well.
