Looks awesome. Too bad I really don't have a use for a changer, but that'd be where I'd put it if I did.

I, too, have the XM bug. I don't really like listening to CDs because I don't get to hear a lot of new music, and as often as I'm in my car, it's my only free time to actually listen to a lot of music.

Im in my car all the time. I NEED to have a great amount of music in there. The sound is crystal clear, almost seems better than the in dash cd player...but I know that cannot be. XM is great as well. Between XM, radio, and 7disc MP3, ive got MORE than enough music to occupy my time.

Skip, dont give up. If you know where everything is, itll take you 30 minutes on/off. If I had to do it again, Id have it done in less that 2 hours. First time is always the hardest. Also, to make your life 100000000 times easier....go to sears, and get a craftsman screwdriver....the kind you push into the screw, and it twists itself....the ones where the shaft looks sorta like a drill bit. That thing helped me put it back together in no time flat.

Thanks for the compliments guys, Im gonna try to install a 7" wide next month, thinking of where to put it.......besides dash any ideas?

One idea I have was to remove the domelights, and have a "third visor" kinda thing goin......just a thought.....please share....

Interesting idea Phil. Do you know of a place online that sells mounts....ie, goosenecks, hinges, etc.?

This was posted by DarkCrow. Don't know if this is what you are looking for. If it is, then I'm sure DC can give you more info.

Hi: Crutchfield has a mount that you ought to check out for the TV. It would attach to the center console and come up, or to the "cheek" piece on the right side of the radio mounting. I'm considering getting one for my Delphi XM.
And Phil, I think that all the MP3 processing and A to D to is in the Alpine HU, not in the changer not certain about the A to D but pretty cartain about the MP3 decoding. By the way I think my home computer is infected, I'm on the computer at work.
