here's a mount that might be adaptable to running along side the console. this wasn't the one i was thinking of, but it's a start.

here are more of what i remembered seeing -- but i'm not sure if they are adaptable to what you're wanting to do... still - w/ a little tweaking, they could be interesting.

don't know if this is the direction you're looking to go in though.... feedback?

That thing is pretty cool.....but....

1. To short.......leaves almost no room for play.....

2. Doesnt seem like it likes to hold a TV in it.

Another thing.......

As you can see, that TV has speakers built in, but I would like the sound to come out of my stereo.

Now, it has an audio out headphone jack, but I can get a headphone jack---> RCA from radioshack. However, where do I plug in these RCA's........I dont think my alpine HU has an input.... ANy thoughts?

oh yes... yes your Alpine does have an input...

this is a cheaper 'dongle' type unit that requires a changer -- but i'm not sure if it works w/ the pass through on the XM

call crutchfield -- they probably know.

and i think in the HU setup menu, you have to change a setting to turn the Aux input on.

(if it were me, i'd pop for the more advanced unit and get the multitude of inputs and eliminate the need to switch the inputs for source selection.)
