I had maybe a few MB of data, not too much. There are so many factors involved. It could have been the heat from sitting in the car, or the times my brother's dog dropped it off of the table, or it was one of the first ones and not debugged yet. Who knows? I liked the firmware, but the harddrive let go on me...what can you do?

either or, i have no doubt that the 'people who add data will crash' theory is probably ... but i figured i'd ask about it anyway.
as you mentioned, there are a number of potential reasons. i'm doing my best to keep it out of the hot car, keep it from hitting the ground, and keeping it away from other harm... it's been 1 week and i'm doing good so far.
