I think that I am at the lowest end of the spectrum. But all I can say is that I have logged over 25 mods so far(not a huge number) and only had 1 that had to do a different resistor setup than what I sent with the package.
My biggest thing is that it wouldnt even program with the resistor NOT in there. Which it absolutely should!
Guess its off to Honda with you and see what happens. Then if it dosen't work we will talk with further tech support!

Update:
I have an appointment tomorrow around 8 to have them test my stereo and mute lead. They did a prelim. check today and came to the same conclusion we did, the mute button has a problem. I'm just playing dumb, so they will pull the stereo tomorrow and check the voltages. They will find the same thing 4V ground we did.
So far so good for Anderson Honda. The lead mechanic and the lead service managers took care of it personally. A beautiful yellow was getting the recall work done while I was there. They also took care of that one personally.

Update:
The harness is being installed this morning. Expecting a call anytime now.
Anderson Honda has a deal with Enterprise. Anderson will pay for a rental car, a Geo Metro. Enterprise gives discounts on the upgrades. $15 a day upgrade to the luxury cars. I got a Saab 95. They had a Volvo S80 and a MB something. Just thought I would throw that out.
