Default my aftermarket radio/cd player

HI all,

So i bought my sony radio about a year ago or less i forgot, but anyways its a great unit, but the other day i got some new songs wanted to blast it in the car and the radio didnt turn on. do you guys think it crapped out on me? i mean its still a new radio. i checked all the fuse even pulled out the radio to check that fuse back there, and its all still live. so im looking to buy a new one today but i wanna be sure its no longer savable lol.

When you say it's live, do you mean it is in fact receiving power? As in you tested it? or just that everything appears correct.

yeah its has power running in it. i checked the wires if it had power, and it dose. no blown fuse or anything. im guessing the unit is just a fail.

If the unit has power (both battery power and signal wire from ignition) then yes, there is a fault within the unit.
