Radio Not Working
I just used a portable air compressor to inflate my tires, and it blew out the fuse on the accessories socket. I also noticed that the radio wouldn't come on after this little event, and the anti-theft red light was flashing as if the car engine was not running. So I checked the radio fuse (it's fine), and then disconnected the battery, hoping it would reset the system so I can input the code. Now the radio is completely dead, and the fuse is still fine. Any ideas?
Many stock radios use the same fuse to keep memory AND power the unit. I don't know why some manufacturers go the multiple fuse route.
PS. Many CD changers do this same thing. One power line to keep memory and a second one to power the unit.

Damn! For a second I thought I wrote the opening post and forgot! The same thing happened to me earlier this week and I'm going down to the dealer this afternoon to get it checked out.

Do anyone know of any (quality) difference between the fuse that I bought at Pep Boys (Littelfuse is their name) and the fuse that came stock with the vehicle?
not something to worry about IMHO
