Just for thought the DB line is a very good line... one of the cleanest sounding bass from a small sub... FYI, great, and beautiful job on the installation.

Wow, old thread bump.

The DB line we were discussing above is referring to the Polk Audio component speakers.

My Sub is an Elemental Designs, and I have since swapped all of my speakers over to Boston Acustics.

really Pete? which series from Boston? and why the change?


did you already mention this and i somehow missed it??

last i recall, you were having issues w/ Lucid on your Polks.. or am i totally off the map here?

Lucid initally denied the warrenty repair on the Polks. He told me in no uncertain terms that I was completely out of luck.

So I went out shopping and got new front Bostons. They are the FS60X 6 1/2"

I liked them so much, I swapped out the kenwoods I had in the rear for Bostons.

Then I got a phone call from Lucid, saying that Polk WOULD cover my speakers, and about a week after that I recieved a brand new set of Polk Components on my doorstep.

I ended up selling the replacement Polks as I no longer had a use for them.

the Bostons are a nice sounding solution, imo.
