Don't buy any Blitzsafe part for a 2004 or 2005 Honda S2000 no matter what autotoys.com says. Blitzsafe confirmed that they never made such a part.

PIE makes a part and it is available at www.logjamelectronics.com

I just got an e-mail from autotoys that said the Blitzsafe devices have "software glitches". He suggested that I try to unplug the radio with the part plugged in...thus "resetting the software". I am not taking my radio out again if I'm not 100% certain it will work, that's why I'm going with P.I.E. It's just $10.00 more.

Matt,

Do not get the Ice>link! I've been through two already and am going to get a refund. Customer service sucks. I'm in the process of deciding on a new choice.

What problems have you encountered? Mine works great in my S2K.

They just die! The first one lasted 2 months and the second only two weeks. I suspect they overheated. First the volume gets real soft, then the car won't recognize the CD changer as plugged in, then nothing. I'm curious where your CPU is mounted?

I tucked mine behind the panel on the side of the console (basically the panel down near the passenger's left calve). I did notice it got hot, so we'll see, maybe mine will fry eventually too!
