Default My new sub. LOTUS!

Check out the sub which came in the mail

Very heavy sub, I cant recall how much my old ALphasonik weighed, but I think this one weighs more, but dont quote me on it.

Very solid construction, nice aluminum cone, and very thick rubber surrounds. Cant wait to hear it in the enclosure which I am making for it.

400 watts rms, svc.

Enjoy

Looks great. I've always wanted to hear Seas Lotus line.

MMMMM.....SEAS.......YUMMY! Please post a review as soon as installed. I have never heard SEAS products in person, but have heard only GREAT things about them. Any chance on a $ for that sub? (I am investigating upgrading in the spring to a REAL sub).

That sub is around $329 (12") and $289 (10")

By far one of the best subwoofers around. Very musical and natural sounding. It sounds better than the IDMAX in most of the installs I've heard.

I plan to get one eventually.

Gsteg posted the price exactly.

I am very excited to install it. Just in the process of making an enclosure. Its been a bit tough designing the box, it needs to be .85, so its going to be a very tight fitting mdf box, I dont have the skills or time to go Fiberglass.

Review will be up the minute it goes in the car. Should be no later than thanksgiving.

Their reference line of components looks sweet as hell, might go with them for my next car once I sell the S! (some time late next year)

Can anyone guess what kind of car?

Hopefully not the sky or solstice.

Im interested to hear your review against the Alpha. I have never head SEAS products, but did hear good things. Would like to add this to my recommend list. Funny you say its as heavy as the alpha. It looks A LOT smaller (magnet structure) but looks can be decieving in regards to magnets. Whats the cone made out of?

No, no, no sky or soltice.

When I first pulled the sub out, I thought to myself this thing is small, but it does weigh alot. I will post up a review, since I really thought highly of the ALpha, the SEAS has alot to live up to, in my eyes.

The cone is made out of Aluminun (I think), MR ASDF can confirm this.

Any other guesses on the new car.

More or less spensive or comparable to the S? If I were to look for a new non convertable I would look towards the Porche Cayman. I've heard good reviews from mags. That's a lot of money to dish out ontop of the S though.
