good setup - here's my ideas on that though , change your sub out to a 10w3v3 , or 12w3v3 , the box your using isn't enough airspace for the w6.... then I would amp the front speakers of the car , Do this by getting a JL 350/4 and bridging the rear channels for the sub , and channels 1/2 for the fronts.
i'm not a huuuge fan of speakers pods... here's the reason... anything will sound great and loud when it's slammed on the back of your head, but not really clean, plus they'll be at a completely different level of volume in comparision to your doors so you really don't have a good imaging stage.... type R sub is good

I'd suggest getting a 4 or 5 channel amp that can power your components and sub at the same time. The HU won't cut it.
*My only question now is which sub to get (4ohm or 2ohm) and which if any of WLaurents enclosures would be best. The sub will be an Alpine Type R. I want the best sound quality, not so much worried about space savings at the moment.
5 channel is pointless unless you plan on doing fronts and rears inside the cab.... If you do a 4 channel PDX amp you can do either a 4ohm load , or a 2 ohm load and it'll put out the same amount of power, which is the huge benifit.... otherwise your going to need to get the 2 ohm sub for the amp to put out any power.

advantage to running 2ohm is going to be more power from the amp you have right now , or MOST amps out there... there's only 2 amps on the market right now that put out the same power from 2ohms to 4 ohms and that's alpines PDX, and JL's slash series.... the benifit to running at 4 ohms is the amp runs cooler because of less resistance.

-smaller
-lighter
-more efficicient- less power draw
-easier to wire: speaker wire plugs, and the ring terminals are on the top. I have a very stiff car and evey once in a while I had the ground wire come out of the JL amp. (mine were mounted vertically)
