My goodness...I like listening to cd's...but $1500 for a format that is becoming obsolete, as far as sound quality is concerned, is rediculous. Maybe for a dvd audio headunit with navigation, i might fork out that kind of money.

One last question for darkknight1999. Are all of these Nakamichi headunits manufactured in Japan? If not, which ones are, and which ones are made in China ? Sorry, but I'm real anal about these things. Thanks.

 

my CD400 is made in Malaysia.
I'd guess only the $1500 one is made in Japan
