Guys I need your help...

Does anyone happen to have any pics of an uninstalled '04 '05 head unit? I really just need a pic of the back where the connectors are.

Thanks for your help...

The electronics forum can help you more with this, I'll move it into there for you.

Hey guys, I got my HU today and wanted to know if all '04/'05 HUs are XM ready? The HU on the Honda site has an XM logo on the top right of the face plate:
http://automobiles.honda.com/models/interi...ModelName=S2000
My new HU does not have this... which made me wonder if Honda produced two diffrent HUs, one XM ready and one not. Anyone know? Any of you guys the have the factory XM, do your HUs have the logo?

Thanks for the help.

Mulder,
Do you have "Sat" on the button second from far left on top of the radio?
If yes, then I'd guess you have XM capabilities.

How'd it turn out? I have a similar question. I want the Aux adapter that allows RCA input. There are no "extra" plugs. Will I be able to desconnect one of the plugs, because it's for XM (and I don't need XM)?

Any help.

some of the honda OEM radios in 2004 and 2005 don't say "sat," they say "aux."

Same thing. Hit it once, it selects the XM tuner box if installed. hit it again, it selects the CD changer, if installed.

incubus -- contact PIE, I believe they make an adapter that turns the Honda XM / CD changer plug in the trunks of the 04s and 05s into a regular RCA type AUX that you can plug other things into (and you *do* need XM, you just don't know it.)

I found an adapter from www.autotoys.com It's on order. They haven't confirmed it for the 2005, but for 2004 it will work. Are the radios any different? I assumed they are identical.
