Default need help amp overheated!

guys,
im running focal utopia 165w speakers + Audiobahn 2800E amp (200 per channel) + 02 Factory hu.
i usually listen to my music w/ xxtra bass and loud, but today my amp won't let me do that, It goes overheated everytime i turn up the volume or bass (or songs w/ heavy bass).
the cooling fan is working fine, the trunk is empty for my amp to breath. the xover control on the amp is ALWAYS at "full". HPF frequency is at "750 Hz". Bass boost is "off". when i try to turn the xover to "HPF" instead of "full" it will work fine but i don't get any more bass!! what happened to my amp? please help me all you audio genius.

You turned the high-pass filter to ON, and it surprises you that your bass disappeared?! What am I missing here?

When your amp cuts out, is it hot to the touch?

You want to keep the xover set to full.
