Default Need help with CD-R made on Macintosh for S2000

HI,
I cannot get my cd-r's made on my newer Imac 10.3 to play in my s2000, 2002. It will play cd-r's made on pc's. The cd's I make will play on all my other players including cheap aftermarket players, Honda even gave me 1 new radio but no luck.
Anyone solve this issue?
Thank you.

Just checking - you're not using CD-RW media, right?

I'm going to move this to Electronics. You'll probably get better answers there.

Thanks for the help so far but I am doing all those things properly.
For those of you using Mac's with a combo drive and having their burned cd's play, what format are you using?
I think I tried them all buy mp3.
As I said, these burned cd's I make play on everything else, home units and cheap car cd players. PC burned cd's have played in mine.
Thanks.

I burn CDR's on my PowerMac SuperDrive just about every week. They worked fine in my old OEM headunit and continue to work fine in my aftermarket Alpine. I always used iTunes.

One Exception, if you burn a disc with a lot of short songs, say 22 tracks on a cd, the OEM headunit had trouble playing the last 8 or so songs, but not always.

One other thing to be aware of. When burning MP3 Cd's from iTunes you cannot include music you bought from the iTunes music store because they are ACC files, not MP3. This is a majoe bummer.

These are not issues.
Not sure which format to import with, AAC, Wav, or Aiff.
I have tried buring at different speeds also.
