I have been looking to buy the head unit for my s2000 for the purpose to connect my iPhone and the looks of the head unit. I really like the design and the feature(Bluetooth, ipod connector) of alpine x303 but it seemed like the ipod connector was connected to the back of the head unit, I couldn't find any place for the cords in the front. Does that mean I have to drill a hole or something to connect to my iPhone?

 

You'd run the cable from the rear. You don't connect your iPhone/iPod directly to the rear of the head unit.
