Hey Guys!

I want to replace my current Fob/Remote with a new one because it looks pretty used. My S is a 2001 AP1 from EU. It came with 2 Remote with 2 Buttons and has a Security System installed (small red LED in center console)

As you can see it has only 2 Buttons.

So my Question is can i buy just any Remote/Fob and re-program it? Or do I need to buy a 2 Button Case and put my existing Chip in there?
I used the Search function but i'm kinda confused what my options are.

 

Buying a case and putting your old remote's circuit board in there will be both cheaper and less work than buying a complete new remote and reprogramming it.
Your remote is made by Hamilton & Palmer in the UK if you email or call them you can buy cases and complete remotes from them.
