Hi, I just bought this AP1 '00 and the previous owner intall this aftermarket radio. I wanted to install the new AP2 OEM radio, because of the audio control function.

Can someone identify these connectors for me? He cut all the original harness... and i culdn't find the one that goes to the remote either. Pls help...

Just reconnect the original harness you found on the oem radio.

The Modifry DCI (mentioned in the Audio FAQ stickied at the top of this subforum) will allow you to retain use of those controls with an aftermarket radio.

The audio controls are part of the harness, IIRC.

This site has a chart of wire color and position to function. As someone mentioned,
there's no separate harness for the dash controls - there are two wires in the main
harness that go to the dash control (one for mute and one for everything else).

looks like the owner couldn't afford a $20 harness for the stereo and cut up the original wires to attach the new one. Best to go with the modifry cable.
1. its a pain a new original harness
2. you can install that connection piece you have above by matching colors. Looks like the wires are too short.
