Default aftermarket radio and s2000 antenna booster

after hooking up my Alpine radio in place of the oem radio I have noticed poor radio reception
Since I'm using the modifryadapterr for the dash buttons and not using the factory connector Irealizedd the antenna booster is not actually hooked up. ( I spliced into the oem wiring rather than buying the modifry connector adapter.

There is a yel/grn wire that comes from the oem antenna booster.
To what wire can I connect this to coming from the Alpine radio? Should it be spliced into the ign wire or can I use one of the unused radio wires such as the amp remote turn-on?

So you hacked up the OEM harness instead of getting the plug and play harness? Yikes

fwiw, My radio works fine with the PNP harness

Second that - PNP adpater Harness was like $14 and fast plug in play without cutting nothing.

I'm pretty sure the amp remote turn on from your deck can only handle 500mA or something along those lines. I'd use the ignition wire depending on the boosters power requirements. Worst case is you use a relay as well.

I installed one because I had it from my old Type R which had crap reception with an aftermarket antenna. I connected it the remote amp wire. No issues.
