Thumbs down Need help removing dash shelf

Help!! I'm trying to remove the passenger side dash shelf in my MY'07 and can't figure it out. I found one center philips head screw but can't find the side clips to release it. I've already broken off the heads of what I thought were clips on the inside of the shelf and don't want to do any more damage. A Helms manual is on my Christmas list, but Santa hasn't brought it yet.

I'm trying to troubleshoot Modifry's DCI and need to get into the speed sensor wire...

Anyone who can help? Please???

Let me start off a few pictures under that dash I did to mine monrhs ago. Hope this help
this is an 05'

this is the plug with the speed wire pulled

Use a tiny flat head screw driver, I go from inside the plug try to pick the plastic lock against the terminal then pulled the wire on the other side at the same time.

this is where th plug pulled off the module hanging loose below

Modifry module with grey wire run to the speed sensor wire

Below is my Ipod control unit module place on top of convertible top module due to not having much room behind radio (Yellow, black, white wires)

Good luck any more question you can PM me, I'm gald to help.

Hi An, thanks for the photos - this is the step where I need help, except that on the '06 and later, it's a new storage shelf. I can't find the clips or attachment points to get the shelf out.

Okay
1 screw in middle of pocket
2 clips like in trunk liner where you have to press the center to get them to release - near the inside of the pocket - they go side ways

then you have to pop 6 clips like on an AP1 but they are prone to breaking.

Helms Manual over the phone FTW

Great, thanks. I'll give it another go. I tried prying those side clips and broke them. I'll try pushing in on them with a screwdriver and see if I can get them to let go. I really appreciate your help!

Bingo - that did the job. I just needed to get a pair of small needlenose pliers to get those little push-clips out, then I gave it a good tug and it came right out. Thank you!!
