Default Need Help with a SONY....!

I am looking at this: Sony Grand WEGA KF50WE610 50 in. Projection Television

It is a true 50 inch LCD for about 3k and was wondering if anyone has one or has any experiences with it. The early ones I understand had some circuitry problems that were corrected and all the ones mfg after Jan 1 will be ok. The pic seems awesome and the price is decent considering the size. It has none of the poor quality picture of traditional rear projections, as it is LCD.

If you have one, any issues with pixel burn in? Is is critical to get the extended warranty? Generally I shy away from ex warranties, but with something like this, I might be inclined. I was told however, by a Sony store, that if something happens, it will happen in the first 30-90 days.

Any input is appreciated. thanks

I dont know about this particular model, but Ive seen my friends 53inch LCD and that thing is great. Great picture, no burned pixel, (although a few are considered a norm)....DO NOT get the extended warranty, because like the guy said. if anything happens, it will happen fast.

Let me know if you need some more help. Oh, and shop around online......I have seen 60" Plasmas for 3 grand......Ill try to help you out..
