dont know much about speakers but these seem to give 100rms each. ebay got some cheap door speakers.

 

Don't go cheap with audio, I had some Pioneer speakers installed and they were crap. Best money is Polk Audio or Kicker, go to your local Best Buy/Fry's Electronics/etc ...I bought 2 pairs of Polk Audio speakers for $110, gotta love the buy 1 get 1 free sales

 

^ agree You can get a nice set of Polk or Alpine for less than 200. My choice would be Polk but there's a lot of really good options in this price range.

Don't know what you're end goal is but if it's building a good budget system; down the road throw in a Sundown amp, KnuKonceptz speaker wire and eDead sound deadening. For less than a grand, you've got a really good sound system.

 

Highly subjective. Even if you could post more about your needs/wants your best bet (as always) is to get out there and to listen to the options with the music that you typically listen to.

 

yup pioneer sucked!! went polk audio they are good... but in wife's honda fit i just did 4 polk audio and alpine plug in amp her car sounds great... thinkin adding that same amp makes huge difference

 

I just want to have decent bass inside the car. I have a friend currently employed in frys and he says he will get me discount on the final price as well. I know I can't get sub woofer sort of bass but anything is better than kmy current blown ones

 

Fry's has some good deals then, that's where I got my buy 1 get 1 free Polk Audio speakers... But Fry's installation sucks %$!@# Just don't cheap out! Use the discount to purchase top name brands
