I want to put some type of MP3 head unit in, but I also want one which (by some means) I can keep my dash controls. Can anybody suggest a nice one? I'd also like to keep the red theme going, so I also am partial to red buttons/face. Thanks for your help guys!

Hmm there is some red in the display.

I have the JVC KD-SH909 and I love it. Good power, quick track transitions etc etc.

I added a PAC SWI-X with help from Lucid, he made it very easy for me to do quickly and the first time up and running.

I also mated it up with his rear panel set which makes a huge difference, don't let anyone tell you different.

I think the Kenwood decks might have some red in them as well.

I installed the Alpine CDA-7894. The buttons can be changed from green to amber (same as the S2k dash). The display is always blue. I also added the PAC unit, and will be looking @ DJ's new mod when complete.

They sell this unit @ Circut City so take a look.

I'll go take a pic of my dash with the Kenwood MPV-619 set to orange background and red buttons. Everyone that rode in my car didn't ask about if I had changed my head unit until I changed the color scheme to green/white or some other non-stock combination.

Alpine, Kenwood, Panasonic and Clarion. Pick out what features you want in the deck (that has MP3) and you're set.

I'm using the MP919 Kenwood. Lots of features. Only deck I've seen that can be a powered deck or a preamp (shuts off internal amp for cleaner signal). Red buttons/green buttons. Costs a bit, but load times are quick.

I know my digicam is horrible.. no need to comment on it..
You can also change the display to red but I forgot to do that while taking the pictures. It looks perfectly stock if you choose the correct color scheme.
