Can anyone tell me how to hardwire a C330?

The C330 with its compact size and silver finish fits the S2 really well.

Thanks.

Tom Tom is pricey - over $700
There are two models. The intro model routinely goes for ~$350 on eBay. BUT, I have read that the TomTom screen is useless in direct sunlight. I really hope that's not the case but you may want to buy it a place that takes full refunds.

Garmin's answer is the StreetPilot:

No touchscreen as far as I can tell, but it looks promising.

I realize that the flip-screen would not work because of the shift knob. The screen would hit it when it opened. Would the flip screen work if it was opened when the car was on, and the shifter in reverse, and them just left open until you park the car, put knob in reverse then close?
Its not just the shifter, it hits the dash when open as well and will not open fully.

Flip ups don't work at all.

You can install a stand alone screen and get a unit you can mount under your seat like the Alpine nav unit. But I think the TomTom is a nice looking unit and it can fit or be molded into the a-piller with very little work.

I thought I saw a custom job where the flip out screen came out of the "convertible" vents above the HU. Could be wrong, though. You could also jus cut the dash.

Get the Tom Tom Go 700 - hands down the best option. I got one about a month ago and it works really well. I love the 3D birds eye perspective, makes it much easier to navigate. Lots of great features, etc. I never really noticed the screen washing out in the light so that doesn't seem to be a major issue for me.

PM me, I'll show you how.

I went in on 1/2 of a Tom Tom 700 - drove from Philly to Seattle and liked it. Have't used it yet in the S2000 but it should be a great addition for those times you are looking for a specific location in somewhere you haven't been before.

Check out the Clarion NICE unit, hands down the best portable nav, but its screen might be to big for a car like the S, and its pricey.
