Default New audio Goodies!

Well here we go. New goodies.
1. CDT Eurosports ES 620's
2. Alpine MRV-F545

Check out how small the amp is. Cant wait to fire it up and see the lcd read out.

Eurosports, check out the cone material

Did not take any pictures of the tweets, nothing fancy about those.

Phil, check out the info sheet on the amp I was telling you about.

These are not as deep as the Utopia's but I heard nothing but great things about these speakers.

The head unit is the same as my old one, so no need for new pictures.

All my goodies, its like christmas!!

Just waiting for my sub to arrive. And I have to make the box.

One last pic of the amp and speaker packaging.

Where are you gong to mount the amp? At that size, it looks like you could get a little more creative than most of the more space consuming install jobs I have seen on this forum. The space consumption issue is one of my biggest reasons for resisting the move to an external amp.

Alanl,

I am going to get a flat cover for the rear, going to mount the amp there, and then build a surround around the amp so it will be a flush mount. Dont know how I am going to do that yet, but I will work on it. I was going to mount it in the spare tire area, but I want to display the LED read out.

Lubed, PM me and I can tell you how much I paid, I got a an awesome deal on them, or so I think.

pikkashoe... nice.

rated 125 Wrms x 4 @ 4 ohm @ 14.4 V .... actual... 172.9 ...

nice birthsheet. i wonder how it compares to other new Alpines out there... that thing is pretty darn small for that much power.

Phil I was amazed at the size of it. I was initially going to go with a spare tire amp rack and have a stealth set up, but the amp is just too nice to hide, so I ordered one of Jim's Flat Amp Racks for the rear, and going to throw that bad boy right smack in the middle. Its got digital gain adjustments, I wonder how that will work out. CDT's are pretty nice too, build quality is not as nice as the Utopias, and the magnet does not compare to the utopia's, but the cone material and surround just looks nice and sturdier than the Utopia's. Lets see what happens when they go in though.

I was thinking about getting this as well,

Check it out.

you're call man... that's interesting looking though.

i'm not a huge fan of the 'bounce off windshield' sound, but i did it in the Ody w/ the Bostons and it turned out pretty good. i still prefer the more localized sound in my S though.

The only problem is wiring that, I would have to run a new set of wires to the tweets, and tell you the truth, thats something I dont want to do.

The product is interesting though. I cant wait for my sub to arrive already, thats the only thing holding me up right now.
