I've been looking at replacing the stock head unit as I only just got my s2000 and the stock one doesn't even have aux in. Not sure about sizes though as I have never replaced one before, does anyone have any idea whether this would fit with the case still able to be closed ?

Adapter harness (see image below)

works with all head units since you have to solder the connections.


It's the DCI (DCI and harness are two entirely different things) that you need to worry about for compatibility. See also:

I believe the harness is option is only for Alpine and Kenwood.

 

the "plug&play" harness (pre-soldered to the headunit harness) is only available for
Alpine and Kenwood, but the standard adapter harness is universal and highly desireable.
