Default new member of the dash cutting club!

as some of you may know, this monitor project has been a long ongoing mod for me this past year. i bought another dash last dec. for this project and worked on it here and there, whenever i had the time.
while i evacuated from hurricane katrina last month, i finally had the time to finish making the bezel for the monitor. at the time, i was going to give up and even thought about selling the car for something more economical. but, as soon as i had finished and installed it, i fell back in love with it again.

i am proud to say that i have done everything myself, especially taking out the dash! i would recommend that you have a service manual handy before you start on this project. i may take it back out to repaint it to match the bezel, but other than that, i love it! as for now, i have my modded xbox hooked up to it until i can find a good deal on an alpine dvd navi. last but not least, i would like to thank those who have already done this as my inspiration. well, here are some pics of my work, let me know what you guys think.

jt...

sweet. i look forward to seeing this really soon. also, i may be able to work w/ my buddies here in BR to help you get some Alpine gear for much less than MSRP. i'll have to see what kind of margin they can knock off.

Does the recession in the screen bother you or make it harder to see from a side angle? Did you actually leave the cardboard in when you overlayed the fiberglass? Otherwise looks great!
