Got anopther crazy idea for the AFSC s2k one once you get done with RX-8 version.

oh la la, I almost sh.t my pant. Like everyone said you're f***ing nuts. How long did it take you to complete this project, and beside the carbon fiber is there anyother color that comes with the kit on the dash board? Two thumbs up for you, Great job man.

 

If I had everything on hand the same day the project would only have taken about 1 day to complete the dash stuff and another day for the Box/amp/headunit install.

Most of the waiting time would comes from the time it takes for the resin to cure.

From start to finish it took about 3 weeks to complete.

Sub box/amp/headunit was installed on the same weekend.
I had some lag time with my CF supplier.

The CF weave on the box is of a different weave since it is subject to larger stresses than the stuff in the dash.

I can get cf in a multiple of colors but I think natural black worked well with the brushed aluminium and black dash.

Note this was not a kit this is full custom job that required a rewire of the 110VAC prcessors to take a 12VDC input for power and a RCA to XLR transformer and vice versa to allow the audio siginal to pass through the processors and back to the amps. These processors are somthing that you would normaly only see in a recording studio.

We are trying to push the 1000 hp mark and the 850+ tq mark
but we are keeping our modifications a secret right now we have done some stuff that has never been attempted before.

 

Are those the Tang Band drivers?? how do they sound in the sealed(I assume) enclosure??
