I recently purchased a '00 S2. When I use the intermittent wiper every time it wipes the window I hear the turn signal clicking sound. The mechanic at Carmax says its supposed to do that. I've spoken to 1 S2000 owner of a '02 that says his doesnt do it. Is this normal or no? The sound is annoying

Its normal, mine does it too, and a buddies of mine. The S2000 does not have alot of sound deadening material, so you hear alot of mechanical noises, just turn it on LO, and your clicking sound problem will be solved.

S2000s aren't meant to be driven in the rain!!! I don't notice anything overly loud on mine when the wipers go, but it may be masked by other sounds in my car, ie my exhaust.

It's the delay relay clicking. Perfectly normal.

I was wondering the same thing, it seems that only the 2000 and 2001 models click on the intermittent mode, I know a buddy of mine who owns a 2002 which doesn't have the click. I have a model year 2000 and it clicks too, so I assume it is normal.
