Well,... we did have Alpine help us design it so I would think its good. I can't see them telling us something bad. We call them all the time.

I cant see getting overly concerned about sub volume in a convertible!! I think your air mass/volume is all out the window (so to speak) as soon as the top goes down

I have a 12" sub in a JL stealhbox and its all good

Yo John....


Where did you get that black plastic garden hose crap thats on the right gooseneck of the trunk (to make it look like the stock one on the left???

Im Planning some "additions" and this would be necessary.


Also, one more thing, when you had your amps mounted under your trunklid...
did you have issues with the trunk staying open by itself due to the added weight???

The black stuff is just expandable tubing. As for the amps mount on the trunk lid.... all I can say is ACTUATOR
