Default New system, help me decide.

I work at an Audio shop now Imagine Audio and have access to unbelievable discounts. Im tired of seeing all these customers come in and drop thousands on equipment. I figure I should start building a new one for myself.

Right now I have an Alpine 9835, Memphis components, 2 10" Kicker Solobarricks, with a Memphis amp. The only thing Im keeping for now is the HU and Ill swap that out down the line for a Eclipse AVN9855 in a JDM bezel.

I just need some opinions. So far Im thinking Focal 165 K2P components. Maybe 2 13KS's for mid bass in my kick panels. Maybe 2 Audison VRX250 amps. Eventually either a Focal or Diamond single 13" or 12" sub in the rear with an Audison VRX500 amp.

Im not that familiar with Audison amps, except that the one guy at work has them and they sound great on his Focal's. Also they are small there for easy to mount and hide.

Ive heard the Diamond subs and amps, but Im not sure if theres better out there.

I also have full access to the Eclipse line, but I have sent to many of there products back for warranty all ready so Im not to confident in there equipment anymore.

Any opinions would be appreciated.

if you are looking for small, take a look at the xetec audio line of amplifiers.

what is your goal for your next system? louder? cleaner? staging? imaging? more dynamic? etc.

kickpanels for midbass is not the greatest idea. you are better putting midranges in the kicks and the lil woofers in your door.

audison amps are ok, nothing special. they are clean but thats about it. not much balls there.

they are wayy too expensive for what they are. if you are set on them, try getting them at demo pricet

Im going for sound quality this time. The brands Ive mentioned are the ones I have access to. Put it this way I can do a system with those brands for the price of a mid grade Best Buy system.
