I am sorry but the search isnt working right now, but I am just curious if there is a spacer kit available to cover the gap when you replace the stock HU with an aftermarket HU? If not, what have you used to cover the gap.

You dont need spacers. You have to use the stock HU brackets....take them off the stock HU and mount them on the new HU.

Thanks for the info, I will do that. I was just making sure there will be no gap when I get my new HU in.

Whatever head unit you buy should come with a plastic trim piece for the front of the unit that will cover up any gaps there are in the front. And as NFRs said, just reuse the stock brackets, the head unit will already have the matching screwholes for it.
