Newest cell phone that has a hardwire kit for car?
You know... it's a shame noone makes a universal car kit.. one that plugs into the headphone adapter...
My suggestion is www.theboom.com been dying to try one of these out... supposedly will work with the top down at 100+

Very cool Evil G. However I am looking for no headphone, just a handsfree kit? Alot of towns near me make it illegal to hold a cell phone and drive and with my job I am on the phone often, so I need a handsfree kit. Thanks again for everyone's input!

As far as a headset I would recommend Sybersay 540 . I've had it for over 2 years and very happy with it. Here is a review on this product as well as some other headsets reviews...

Or if you want to have a top of the line model and willing to spend about $150, then you can try Jabra Freespeak Wireless Headset

Which provider has the best coverage depends on the location.
There have been many people who have had the bait and switch from Verizon. They offer a free phone and when they ask if there are any strings or contacts, they say no. They take the phone and a few weeks later they get a letter in the mail thanking them for renewing their contract for two years. I know half a dozen people that they have done this too.
They like to spend money like a drunken sailor; just one reason why their rates are higher. They have fought the FCC in number portability and the court has ruled the FCC can mandate it. They buy equipment that is proprietary and thus locked into one vendor. They have multiple billing systems so if you call CC and you are out of your home area they have problems assisting you. If you call after hours in some states you get sent to a third-party call center and they can actually provide better service then the call centers that Verizon owns/runs.
