Default --- No High Beams ---

So I dont have High Beams... My regular lights work fine but when I try to turn my High Beams on nothing happens. I tried to find a fuse for it to see if it was blown however I can't seem to find a fuse specifically for the High Beams. Is there a fuse just for the high beams??? Could it be something else???

Thanks.

From a quick look at the wiring diagram for the AP1 (and it shouldn't
be different for an AP2):
The headlights are fused in pairs - left low and high are on one fuse,
and right low and high are on another. Thus if your low beams work, it's
not a fuse or headlight relay.
The three possibilities I can think of:
1) both high beam bulbs are burned out (if one of them burned out, you
might not have noticed until the 2nd did too)
2) the headlight switch has failed
3) the ground wire from the headlight switch has failed/become disconnected

Thanks. I'll look into those possibilities.

Thank you oth.

_sonic, I just noticed today that my AP1 shows this same problem. Were you able to locate the cause of yours? The blue high-beam indicator light works.

hey,
I also just got a 02 S2K and it turns out that my high beams also don't work, but low beams work fine. Did any of you guys figure out how to fix it? Thanks!

Just fixed the same problem on my 2003 S2000 at 72,000 miles. I had thought it unlikely that both bulbs would fail in a short time frame, but that's exactly what happened. They were blue bulbs, and I don't know if those are OEM or were installed by the previous owner. Mechanic claims that for whatever reason, blue bulbs tend to be less reliable than white ones, so I put new white bulbs in.

Just purchased an '05 S2000 and have the same problem. Quick question. When you pulled on the stalk to turn on the high beams, did the blue indicator on the dash light up even if the high beams didn't turn on? My high beams do not work and I get no blue indicator at all. I have no idea what the issue is.

Thank you in advance.

Anyone find a resolution to the high means not working? I have an AP1, also no blue indicator when stall is pulled.

Changed 1 bulb. (Passenger side) Still no difference . Neither work.
