I read somewhere here that PAC was developing a plug and play solution for the idiots (read me) who don't want to mess with wiring this up ourselves. I thought I'd email them and see what the deal was. I'd think this would be a pretty decent market for them. Anyway, heres the response.

"There are no plans for a "plug and play" solution. The relay still is
needed for the mute function and the 3.3k or 3.6k resistors is needed,
connected from the green wire to the black. There are instructions on our
website.
