Nokia phone install and Alpine stereo w/ minor mods
This weekend I will have pics on the install of the Nokia hands free kit w/ Panavise mount and antenna. Install was painless, as I have done this before w/ my Eclipse when I had a Pioneer cell phone--yes a Pioneer! ( it was actually a motoralla phone just Pioneer re-cased it and put their log on it.) I connected the cell mute to the mute funtion on the PAC and Wiring harness--for the cell mute funtion) mounted it to the Panavise mount--and fed the wires underneath the carpet. Also the mic and antenna wires are hidden. I saved my self $125.00 and the trouble of some idiot scratching up my Head unit and car interior parts. I mounted the "box" on the passenger side behind the cover. Total time took about three hours w/ being careful not to scratch or break anything. I will have Pics this weekend w/ a link! Oh--I almost forgot--the phone when installed does not interfere w/ the passenger--If you have a stocky person in the it might interfere a little--I sat there and there wasn't much interference
If anyone would like to have one installed , let me know! Maybe I could coordinate w/ Rick H and we could have a joint clinic!
