Not electrinics but wanted to share with my buddies here
Guys after I did some adjustment to my system, I went upstairs and had like 4 beers and after that my friend called me from a club near my house and I went there and had 2 redbullvodka's. I had all this in about 3 hours and clearly I shoudlent be driving but I decided to go home and got pulled over.
Officer asked me that he pulled me over for dark windows and then told me " really nice vehicle did you get it new?' I was like yes sir I did.
Did you buy it with the dark windows?
I said the truth " No I had them installed sir"
Where is your reg, drivers license and insurance?
I gave him my drivers license and pointed the temporay reg on the window.
He made me follow my license with my eyes moving it around and asked me if I had any drinks.
I said the truth again, yeah I had a couple drink at the Dasha's (clubs name).
He just said ok be carefull on the way home and let me go.
He obviosly knew I had tinted front windows ( illegal in cali) and I had more drinks than I should. He could easily get me a front tint or worse a DUI ticket but he didint and I think because I said the truth instead of bulshittin him. I also have all these mods that cali goverment does not allow (exhaust and intakes are offroad use only). So I am lucky that I got pulled over by a nice police officer. Not all of them are like that but I shouldent of drive on the first place anyways.

Andy,
I won't stay on my soapbox for long, and I know that you know this, but Drinking and Driving ain't cool. I'm glad you didn't hurt anybody. We all know how easy it is to get into bad situations, but don't get behind the wheel. Shitty things can happen fast, and it's all the worse when you are to blame. Go ahead and have a few drinks, but when Drunk DO NOT DRIVE.
You can post drunk all you want, and we will forgive your spelling and grammar mistakes. But this indicates that you are quite the drinker.

dude... i'm not gonna preach much either... i'll just leave it like this...
when i was at LSU for my first degree, it was in the late 80's early 90's when Louisiana's legal drinking age was 18. LSU was ranked the #1 party school in the nation for several years then, and i was an Resident Assistant in the underclassmen dorms at that time...
in those years, i saw some really good guys put a major hurting on their lives due to excessive drinking and then getting behind the wheel. and i am sad to admit, i know some guys who made terminal mistakes related to DUI. the costs: criminal records, jail time, massive fines, impounded cars, death...
ugly man... ugly.
don't go down that path... taxis, a friend to come get you, designated driver, some friends who can come out to drive you and your car home... whatever.
if i were you, i'd consider this mercy event a big time wakeup call.
on a side note, i also got pulled over the other night (Tues) for blowing a stop sign... it was late at night, back in a very industrial area, and the stop sign services a very short dead end road on the left... it was dark, and there was clearly no one on this 60' section of road...
apparently, a cop saw me and pulled me over for it. he asked if i was out for some fun ("yes, sir just a nice evening drive.") and if i saw the sign. i told him the truth - "yes, i saw it. i looked down the empty street and saw nothing coming, then blew the sign."
he looked at me, then told me to take it easy and to stop next time and drive safely.
i'm positive that if i would have BS'ed him, i'd have gotten the ticket. sometimes, honesty is the best policy. also, polite friendly respectful treatment of the police officer helps i'm sure...
