O2 simulator and receive error code "P0153 "O2 sensor slow response and CEL
Hi
I installed my wideband and I use the O2 narrow band simulator.
Now I receive a "check engine light" and the ODBII trouble code is "P0153 "O2 sensor slow response""
Any suggestions ??
Mike

this one : http://techedge.com.au/vehicle/wbo2/default.htm
Here are some solution from the company.
1. The NB set point has been set outside the range of
what the ECU expected to see a change occurring at
(after is adjusted AFR and waited for a response),
and it was flagged as slow (probably indicating it
DID see the change)
2. The NB set point has been set outside the range of
another NB sensor in the system, and it's reporting
that one changed but not the other.
3. Perhaps the "slope" of the simulated output is lower
than what the ECU expected. A real sensor has a large delta
V for a given delta AFR.
4. The WB sensor may actually be slower than a real
NB sensor.
