Default OEM Honda 6 Disc CD Changer in my07

Can the OEM Honda 6 Disc CD Changer Part # 08A26-1B1-100 be installed in a 2007 s2k?
If so, what do I need to make it work?

Ive been using this site http://parts.sonshonda.com/productSe...ey_model=13669
along with s2ki and various google searches and can only find that the 8disc changer works in my07. However,
I find that both the 6 disc(14 PIN) and the 8 Disc changer use the same M-BUS cable
http://parts.sonshonda.com/showAssem...&searchString=

However it says
Product Fitment/Applications
Honda S2000 6MT BASE 2008, 2009
Honda S2000 6MT S2000 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007
Please note possible fitment exceptions in product description!

Please help me out with any FACTS before i spend $100+ for a cable

Apples and oranges.

Now, an aftermarket HU and an iPod (or other media device), on the other hand...

There is an install kit that you need from Honda. In the kit you'll get the wires brackets and associated pieces. the car is already wired for the changer all you do is connect the wire on the Changer to the wiring in the car. It should be clipped to the hump where the spare tire sits.

In fact I believe I Have an Extra wire for the install. Pm ME if your interested I'll give it to you for 20 to your door!

Yeah. But I got a great deal. Something about CDs I like. Kind of like pages in a book vs a nook. The nook makes more sense but turning those pages...

I share your same philosophy.
So, I use a USB flash drive for MP3s, and i refuse to buy an I-pod.
Just switch over to MP3s, its worth it.
