Default Question about leather under the center console

I want to run my RCA wires underneath the driver side of the leather panel which is right under the plastic center console (2004 S2K). I can see that there are plastic tabs holding the leather in place just to the right of the driver seat. Can I just pull on these to release it? Basically I want to run the RCA's just above those tabs. I've installed the amp behind the driver seat. Thanks in advance.

Yes you can, but be weary that if you run a lot of wires (or heavy gauge wires) in there, you will get a slight buldge in the leather. Also, keep in mind that the transmission tunnel does get a little warm after long drives.

Thanks. I'm just running my RCA's and remote wire there. They've been in there tucked up in between the plastic tabs with no problems so far. Now I'll remove the tabs and put em up there cleanly.
