Ok i want to install a fuel pump kill switch and was thinking about using the volume control to control a latching relay. i was just wondering if the volume switch is a 3 prong connection ( power in the middle and N.O on the top and bottom settings) if so do you think i can control a latching relay like this? i want it as discreet as possible. So i was thinking volume up = fuel pump on volume down = fuel pump off

 

the dash volume switch does not provide power - it provides various
resistance to ground. Per Modifry,
center = infinite
vol up = 307 ohms
vol down = 47 ohms
